Analog Wall Clocks FAQs

Question: How long will your analog clocks last?
Answer: We have built quality into all elements of our analog clocks and their internal components. Having made this commitment, we are confident that our clocks will perform for 20+ years in a normal interior environment.
Question: What steps are required for an initial clock setup?
Answer: All that is required to initialize our clock is to simply insert Pyramid's “C” size lithium battery (p/n 42324) into the battery holder located on the back of the clock. The clock will automatically search for the 915MHz RF signal and synchronize itself to the Pyramid transmitter. After inserting the battery, simply hang the clock and walk away.
Question: Is the lens shatterproof?
Answer: Yes. We manufacture our lenses using a polycarbonate base resulting in a strong, clear, durable shatterproof product.
Question: Do you have a tamper-proof clock lock feature?
Answer: Sometimes our clocks will be hung in an environment that lends itself to a more secure placement. We have developed a metal locking bracket that once installed only a specially designed key will release the clock from its placement.
Question: Do the clocks automatically update for Daylight Savings Time changes in the Spring and Fall?
Answer: Yes. The transmitter's internal memory is set with the Daylight Savings Time (DST) feature enabled. During the time change, each clock receives a wireless signal, adjusting the time for DST.
Question: Why is your clock low profile as compared to the other brands available?
Answer: Market research and previous clock experience has given us insight into what customers are looking for in their clock style and appearance. The feedback from end-users has been in the direction of a style that is not the typical economical “institutional looking” clock. We wanted to offer a new creative low profile look at an affordable price.
Question: Do you have dual-sided analog clocks?
Answer: Yes. We have developed a mounting bracket designed for a wall or ceiling installation. Assembly of the 2 analog clocks and bracket is simple and quick for easy installation.
Question: Do you offer custom clock faces so I can place my company logo on it?
Answer: Yes. After we receive your custom logo, we will create a custom face proof that needs to be signed off on in order for Pyramid to continue the job. A four-week delivery time is expected after receiving a signed proof. The logo must be submitted in a high resolution EPS or Illustrator file format. A 25-piece minimum order (same logo) and $250.00 setup charge is required for processing. There is an additional charge per clock for printing.
Question: How do the clocks from Pyramid differ from radio-controlled or "atomic" clocks
Answer: Atomic clocks sold by mass merchandisers and office supply outlets are tuned to receive the 60KHz radio frequency transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado. This low frequency has the ability to travel far, but does not have strong penetration tendencies. This signal has a difficult time penetrating the walls for commercial and institutional structures. Also, the quality of the WWVB signal is affected by weather conditions and distance from Colorado. Therefore, with an atomic clock, you may not have reliability of accuracy and synchronization at all times.
